And I'm so glad my first review/interview was so well received! (that's always encouraging). :)Heather Zundelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16621649337908358313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4133084271861373337.post-69785748750442906652009-05-28T19:16:57.337-07:002009-05-28T19:16:57.337-07:00I'm even more excited to read this now after readi...I'm even more excited to read this now after reading the awesome interview!
Such a cool idea!PJ Hooverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02602205868934777662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4133084271861373337.post-21305048947068899502009-05-28T18:26:13.152-07:002009-05-28T18:26:13.152-07:00I love how she mentioned how she knows people who ...I love how she mentioned how she knows people who have kept notes.

Because I have a note I kept.

When I was in high school, my grandmother came to visit. I often took advantage of these visits--she only lived 2 hours away, so she often came for overnight visits, about every other month or so. Anyway, when she was leaving, I didn't wake up to say goodbye, but stayed in bed until noon like a typical teenager. She'd written a note on the back of a business card; basically, just saying she loved me and didn't want to wake me and goodbye. She put it on the pillow, and it was the first thing I saw when I woke up.

Because it was handwritten, I couldn't throw it away (I always keep letters). I kept it for years, just thrown in the bottom of my dresser drawer. Now that she's died, I keep that little business card note in a special place in my jewelry box--but I don't look at it. I don't have to--I've got everything about it memorized.

Notes are very special! I cannot wait to read this book even more!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11431700962951592287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4133084271861373337.post-68071476567068780832009-05-28T15:49:50.604-07:002009-05-28T15:49:50.604-07:00Nice interview!Nice interview!Vivian Mahoneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11285339307161020541noreply@blogger.com
