Contest Epic REOPENED!!!

Current Theme Song (aka what's playing on my ipod right now): Shadows by Au Revoir Simone.

Contest Epic has been reopened! But listen carefully because I don't want to have any other unfortunate mix-ups again. You must put a comment at the bottom of this post to be entered (that should get rid of the follower ID problem). You must be a follower to enter. You must come back to claim your prize. And the contest ends Friday, March 11, 2011 at midnight PST (tomorrow night). To make it fun, tell me your favorite YA fantasy book of all time and why. :) Alrighty then! Now that that's cleared out of the way, let's show you again what is in the booty. :)

Eleven of these deliciously wonderful books (the ones that have not already been claimed, of course)

And all of... this.

(oh, and since this is such a heavy item, this is for U.S only. I'm sorry international people! But if you have a friend/family in the U.S I can ship it to them). Winners announced Monday!

Yay! Another chance at all this wonderful stuff! My favorite fantasy books are The Thief, because Gen is so clever and funny, and Graceling, because Katsa is awesome. And also because they're both so well-written.

Awesome! I missed this the first time. My favorite YA novel of all time is Howl's Moving Castle because it cracks me up, Sophie is strong and unlike most heroines, and Diana Wynne Jones writes beautiful prose.

I am so excited about this contest but what makes me more excited is my favorite YA book. The Harry Potter series has to be my favorite. Full of adventure and a story of maturing. Thanks for the giveaway!

YAY! Another chance to win. *thinks lucky thoughts*

My favorite YA fantasy book... yikes. It's hard to choose, but I'm going to go with Fire by Kristin Cashore. No, wait! Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce. Er, or maybe Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. Or it could be...

So, yeah. I can't choose.

I haven't read very many, but my fav YA book would have to be Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer. I love the whole Twilight Saga but Eclipse is my fav because of the love between Bella and Edward. Even though she has Jacob in her ear 24/7 about why he's the wrong one, Bella listens to her heart.

Mailing this to me would be easy!

My favorite YA has always been a tie between Enna Burning and Book of a Thousand Days. Shannon is pretty much just the coolest person ever (next to you of course. Does flattery get you extra entries?).

I really enjoyed the Hunger Games series, especially the first one because it was really interesting and intense. I also really loved Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare because it was steampunk and set in Victorian London.

Kimberly said...

Ooo! Yay! Like I could pick just one? It's probablt a toss up between Ella Enchanted and A Wrinkle in Time, if those are considered YA, which they might be middle reader...yay contest epic!

Kimberly said...

Ps, it's because Ella and Meg are fantastic heroines and could you imagine better heroes that Calvin and Char? As if!

Funness! (Which is a real word...I promise...)

Oh dear, favorite YA fantasy novel of all time...I think about 10 of them are tied for first place. But I'll go with Robin McKinley's "The Blue Sword."

While I always go back to my favorite books, "The Blue Sword" is one that I can always go back to and it always seems as if I'm reading it for the first time...you can't get much more magical than that!

Kasey said...

My favorite YA fantasy novel... yikes this is hard. I think I'm going to have to choose Fire by Kristin Cashore, although I love His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, and of course there is Harry Potter... and Pendragon. Oh boy, let's stop there shall we? lol there are way too many great YA Fantasy books in the world.

Christi said...

Awesome contest!

I can't pick just one out of any genre of books. Are you counting dystopian fic in with fantasy? In that case, the Hunger Games trilogy, the Chaos Walking trilogy, Delirum, Matched, Across the Universe. Oh, and not dystopian but Shiver and Linger, too.

I'm a follower.
